Interexo overview

Interexo was founded in 2016 by two industry professionals with a mission to save users time and money. It initially began as a deal flow and deal origination platform but has since expanded its offerings to include data solutions.

Who can use Interexo?

Interexo is used by a closed community of industry professionals. Business brokers, private equity, investment bankers, company owners, search funds, family offices, others investment industry professionals.

How do you control data accuracy?

To ensure Interexo database is accurate and complete, Interexo uses the following methods:

1. AI. At Interexo we utilize artificial intelligence to detect discrepancies. Analysts are notified to review further.

2. Crowdsourcing. At Interexo we gather deal flow & business intelligence information from industry professionals such as business brokers, private equity, investment bankers, company owners, search funds and others.

3. Analyst review. Interexo analysts closely review all data, cross-check details across multiple submissions, research the market, contact those necessary to verify information.

Which locations do you cover?

Interexo covers the whole globe. Asia, Australia & Oceania, Central America & Caribbean, Europe, Middle East & North Africa, North America, South America, Sub-Saharan Africa.

Which industries does Interexo have?

We cover a wide spectrum: automotive, business services, construction, consumer goods, distribution, education, energy & utilities, financial services, food & beverage, health/fitness, healthcare, industrials, life sciences, logistics, manufacturing, materials, media, real estate, retail, technology, telecom, transportation, and other.

How do I change my password?

To change your password do the following:

1. Click on your initials in right top corner.

2. Click on ‘Profile’ in a pop up window.

3. On your profile page click ‘CHANGE PASSWORD’.

4. Enter your current password.

5. Enter new password twice and click ‘SAVE’.

I’m leaving my firm, joining new company. What do I need to do?

If you are leaving your current company, please get in touch at support@interexo.com.

Provide us your new company name, title, phone, email. We will update your profile information in the system.

Can I let my colleagues use my Interexo account?

Each Interexo profile is linked to specific individual. You are not allowed to share access to your account with anyone, including your company colleagues.

Deal flow

How do I search deals?

Start your search from ‘Dashboard’.

On the left side of the screen you will find filters to narrow down your search criteria. You can filter by:

1. Industry

- Select from over 20 industries.

2. Location

- Filter by world region, country. US has regions and states filters as well.

3. Revenue

4. EBITDA/Cash flow

5. Deal type

- Select from buyout, equity raise, debt raise, acquisition financing, advisers search, co-investment.

6. Represented by

- Can select from broker representing seller, company representative, company owner, private equity, investment banker, institution, or other.

7. Date added

- Specify whether you want to look at deals just added or deals available on the market for a few months.

After you select any of these filters your search results will be automatically updated. You can view individual deal teasers by clicking on the specific deals within the search results.

How do I view deal teaser and unlock deal info?

After you have applied your search parameters, click on the deal you are interested in. You will see deal teaser. If you want to unlock the deal, click ‘Unlock’ at the bottom of the teaser.

You can unlock deal from dashboard by clicking green ‘Unlock’ button. There is also an option to unlock multiple deals at a time by selecting multiple deals and clicking ‘UNLOCK’ button at the top right corner.

After you unlock each deal, you will see additional deal info, such as contact information for the deal representative.

Where do I see deals I shared or unlocked?

To see deals you own, those you shared or unlocked, select ‘My deals’ on top of left menu. You can filter your deals with filters. To see all deals you own make sure you don’t have any filters selected.

Deal I unlocked is no longer on the market or information isn’t correct? What can I do?

If deal you unlocked is no longer on the market or some information you see is incorrect, please click ‘REPORT DEAL’ on teaser screen. Report any issues with the deal or let us know if the deal is no longer available.

Can I export deals?

You can export deals you already unlocked or shared. Deals will be exported in Excel format.

To export individual deal click on the blue ‘Export’ button next to that deal.

To export multiple deals, select all deals your want to export and click ‘EXPORT’ in top right corner.

Do you have deal notifications/alerts?

To get notified about new deals matching your criteria you can create ‘deal alert’.

To create ’deal alert’:

1. Select your alert filters.

2. Click on blue ’CREATE DEAL ALERT’ button in top part of left menu.

3. Name your alert.

4. Select ‘Notify me by email, when a new deal matches my search.’

5. Click ‘Save’.

When new deals match your ‘deal alert’ criteria, you will be notified by email.

To set notification frequency go to your ‘Profile’ and click on ‘Notification settings’ in top right corner. You can select from the following frequencies:

1. Real time

2. Hourly

3. Every 12 hours

4. Daily

5. Weekly

To use or edit ‘Deal alerts’ click on ‘DEAL ALERTS’ in top part of left menu.

How do I upload deals?

You have two ways to share deals with Interexo community.

1. You will need to provide detailed deal information, such as:

- Deal title

- Industry

- Location

- Short description up to 200 characters

- Long description up to 1500 characters

- Deal type

- EBITDA

- Cash Flow

- Revenue

- CIM is optional

Information from your profile such as your name, company, email, phone will be listed as your contact info.

2. Share teaser level information that is provided without an NDA and include the intermediary contact. This option allows you to upload one or more deals using one of the popular file formats (doc, docx, pdf, xis, xlsx, txt, etc).

You will need to include detailed deal information, such as:

- Industry

- Location

- Title

- Description

- EBITDA

- Revenue

- Cash flow

- Listing source

- Contact firm

- Contact name

- Contact phone

- Contact email

- Any other info you think is relevant

You will receive a notification once the deals are approved.

To keep the quality of deals high we require:

- Minimum EBITDA or Cash Flow of $500,000.

- Or Revenue above $10mm in case EBITDA/CF is below $500,000.

To share deal(s) click on ’SUBMIT DEAL’ in the top right corner.

What deals can I upload?

You can upload deals from every industry. To keep the quality of deals high we require:

- Minimum EBITDA or Cash Flow of $500,000.

- Or Revenue above $10mm in case EBITDA/CF is below $500,000.

How do I change email notification preferences?

To change notification frequency go to your ‘Profile’ and click on ‘Notification settings’ in top right corner. You can select from the following frequencies:

1. Real time

2. Hourly

3. Every 12 hours

4. Daily

5. Weekly

We ask you to only share deal information you are comfortable sharing.

What kind of info does Private Equity Data offer?

A few things:

4,036 PE firms: PE firms with the list of industries, locations, investment size, ebitda, enterprise value, executives, portfolio companies, contact info. We are expanding coverage on daily bases.

36,241 Contacts: We have the contacts for the key decision-makers so you can make the right connection. Phone, email, social contact info.

18,154 Portfolio companies: Growing list of current or past portfolio companies, active or exited, with location, industry, websites, etc.

Brokers Data

Brokers database on Interexo includes brokerage firm data, from company overview to location and contact info. It also includes contact information for brokers, including email, phone, address, website, social.

Robust filtering by location, industry, company name is also available.
